Hello!

We lcome to the Juniper Music Festival. We are very excited to present a wide variety of works this year in three different locations across the USA. The festival is centered around music for percussion and strings. Photographer Jeff Widener will join us as we present our first multimedia event with some of his award-winning photos on dislplay during the concert to help set the scene for Tan Dun's Elegy: Snow in June. Two premieres will be featured, one by Mark Phillips and one by Roger Braun. Phillips piece, Porch Music, draws on folk music from the Appalachian tradition. Roger Braun's piece will have a world-music feel and should be entertaining.

As always, we are lucky to have a group of fime musicians joining us for the concerts. Check out our outreach activities and join us for music that will leave an impression.
